We had a lovely stay at Mvuu Lodge. (Camping) except it was extremely hot. Close to 40 deg. Went on a 3,5 hr boat cruise on the Shire River. We saw a lot .....water buck, warthogs, crocs, hippos, ellies swimming / playing in the river, birds the best of which were about 50 plus African skimmers perching on a sand spit. This morning we went on a early morning birding drive up the Shire River. This evening we are watching the sun set over lake Malawi. xxx
