Arrived in Mombasa. Shortish distance but slow. Crossed onto Mombasa island with a ferry. Very kewl. Staying at Bahari Beach Resort. Will send pics tomorrow.

We spent today 12 October cleaning Mogster. I changed the oil filter and fixed the brake booster bracket. My original not good enough. Tomorrow Mombasa.

Road Mikumi National park.

Amongst all of this, in the National Park, we saw........ Impala, ground hornbill, warthogs, giraffe crossing this same road and one buffalo.

We have arrived in Morogoro before sunset. Found what looks like the best hotel in town
( R 500.00 for two including breakfast ) Journey today 350 km traveling down two very steep and beautiful mountain passes. Passed through a valley that looked like it had an excess of 100 000 baobabs. We managed to get 1 speeding fine and TS 30 000 ( R 200 ) doing 65 in a 50 zone and settled another with a gift of TS 10 000 (R 66 ) doing 73 in a 70 zone. There are more speed humps in Tanzania than sand dunes in the Sahara. Tomorrow off to the sea.
